Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.   The Line Facilitator reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Supervises a group of associates in order to meet company-manufacturing goals. Participates in the day-to-day operations with responsibilities for producing products at minimum costs consistent with quality specifications and production schedules. You will: Lead and drive an assigned group of people ensuring efficient use of equipment, personnel and materials. Identify, analyze, and implement alternatives to improve product quality and reduce costs. Lead non-conformances investigation upon resolution. Drive and facilitate employee involvement to meet Quality and Compliance requirements. Track and monitor quality requirements and production's needs. Monitor lines performance and work operations ensure that EPS rules are followed. Communicate operations status and issues to people involved in the manufacturing performance (IPT). Facilitate communication to associates. Supervise and improve efficiency of direct reports to meet targets. Analyze conflicts and problems on areas of responsibility and provide appropriate and timely responses. Implement safe practices in the use of machinery and equipment. Maintain a safe environment anticipating and solving emerging situations. Plan direct reports work to ensure a continuous and efficient product flow. Report production daily. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Associate Degree with 6 years of related work experience or a Bachelors' Degree with 4 years of related work experience will be required. Experience in process engineering, automation engineering, supervision or similar role is preferred. Availability to various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays is required. Six Sigma or Lean certifications will be preferred. Availability and flexibility to work in any of the three shifts is required. May require working / visiting all three shifts of the operation, working overtime and irregular hours. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to continuously stand and walk long distances. 10% Travel requirement between Ethicon Locations, Domestic and/or international travel.
