Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is based in the heart of the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. Our studio brings together passionate and experienced professionals focused on delivering high-quality free-to-play games for mobiles and tablets. All our great titles are developed in Barcelona, the mobile world capital and hub of innovation in mobile development and technology.
The QC Tester is responsible for the establishment of new testing processes and the improvement of the existing ones. Working with producers and the QC Lead, you determine testing strategies and improve efficiency by producing relevant metrics. You work together with the development team in producing fun and very high quality games. You report to the QC Lead.
You ensure the quality of the game update cycle with dedication and precision.
You design and prepare test cases.
You keep the QC process and documentation up to date.
You produce build/release notes and other core QC documentation for external consumption.
You ensure that platform holder requirements are met by performing early investigation of planned implementation details and working with the development team to suggest changes required.
You have a proactive attitude, able to identify issues and provide solutions.
You write QA reports in a professional manner for senior management.

You have 1+ year’ experience in consumer software quality control testing.
You have excellent knowledge of bug life cycle.
You have ability to operate Android & iOS platforms without assistance.
You are computer literate and familiar with Microsoft software (Word, Excel and Outlook) and any ticketing system (JIRA, Bugzilla, PivotalTracker, etc).
You have excellent planning and reporting skills.
You have top notch communication skills, ability to identify and defuse stressful situations.
You are flexible and able to adapt easily to new situations.
You are a real team player: we use agile development methods, where the team members are in permanent contact. Open mind, respectful attitude towards others and their work and good communication skills are a must.
You have an interest in mobile F2P games.
You are fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
(Please note that work permit for Spain is a must prior to applying for the position).
