About this opportunity   Within Cognitive Software Engineering, we offer the opportunity to collaborate with highly qualified teams worldwide and enable success stories for our customers.   As a Software Architect in System and Technology, you will explore, design, and test the accurate architecture to enable large-scale, hard-working, distributed, cloud-native-based applications. Your knowledge of software architecture will be key to supporting our different applications and customer scenarios, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production and maintenance.   You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, including product owners, domain experts, and technical leads, to provide our products with reliability and scalability.   What You Will Do!   Contribute to System Architecture: You'll be pivotal in shaping the overall system architecture, design, and implementation tailored to Cognitive Software product-specific requirements. Evaluate Impacts and Risks: Assess the impacts, dependencies, and risks associated with functional and non-functional requirements to ensure robust and reliable solutions. Ensure Architectural Integrity: Take responsibility for the appropriate architecture and its implementation, aligning with Ericsson's high standards and best practices. Collaborate Across Teams: Work continuously with other system architects to promote common practices and contribute to a streamlined product suite. Mentorship and Leadership: Offer mentorship to technical leaders within the organization, guiding them towards excellence and innovation. Anticipate Technological Evolution: Stay ahead of IT technology trends, preparing for and adapting to the continuous evolution of our industry. Thought Leadership: Demonstrate your expertise and innovative thinking within and beyond the product unit, influencing the direction of our projects and products.     What You'll Bring to the Team:   Embark on a transformative journey with us by bringing your passion for innovation and a rich background in technology. We're looking for an exceptional individual equipped with:   Advanced Education: A Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology & Systems. Proven Experience: At least 6 years of hands-on experience in crafting cloud-native software architectures that meet today's dynamic business needs. Technical Mastery: Proficient in application development with popular Python, Java, or Go languages. Skilled in utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures. Adept in API design, ensuring robust application and API security, and secrets management. Well-versed in CI/CD/CT practices. Network Design Optimization (NDO) and/or ML/AI knowledge is a significant plus. Architectural Excellence: Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles & patterns. Experience in designing scalable and efficient modern data architectures, adept at selecting the appropriate technologies. Proficiency in relational databases, NewSQL, and data warehousing concepts. Competent in managing real-time and batch data and designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines in a cloud-native environment. Data Management Skills: Knowledge of data governance, data security, and privacy regulations. Expertise in building applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and resiliency, focusing on monitoring, observability, and disaster recovery. Leadership in Innovation: Experience leading Design phases of Cloud Native applications (HLD, LLD, DD, UAT). Capability to lead by example in programming and documentation practices. Ability to explain complex issues & concerns to stakeholders clearly and concisely. Soft Skills & Language Proficiency: A dedicated, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset. Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English, both written and spoken.
