Sanofi is embarking on a groundbreaking journey of migrating existing infrastructure services to Microsoft Azure Cloud, and we're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Azure Cloud Engineer. Job Summary: As part of the DevOps & Cloud Engineering team, you'll be at the forefront of our Azure Landing Zone, responsible for its design, evolution, and automation. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth migration of capabilities to Azure, while also fostering a culture of rapid and frequent Infrastructure as code deployments. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide guidance and support for Operations to ensure seamless run activities without compromising code integrity. Develop and execute plans for application and data migrations to Azure. Design, implement, and deploy hybrid cloud and multi-cloud solutions integrating Azure services with on-premises components and systems. Manage and support Azure landing zones, deploying various infrastructure components and provisioning business applications and databases. Automate deployment, provisioning, and management tasks using CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Action, Terraform, and Ansible. Regularly perform management and administration tasks for all Azure services, including upgrades, patching, backup, restore, and troubleshooting. Relationships: Collaborate with Cloud architects and DevOps SMEs to define policies, best practices, and leverage platform capabilities. Support application teams in utilizing Azure Landing Zone services. Work closely with security and quality teams to ensure compliance. Engage with SMEs across various domains like Network, AD, Security, Server, and Storage. Job Requirements: Prior experience with Azure cloud is essential; familiarity with AWS or GCP is advantageous. Strong expertise in multiple Azure services and technologies, including virtual machines, containers, databases, networking, and storage. Proficiency in automation tools such as PowerShell, ARM, Terraform, or Ansible, coupled with general programming skills in languages like Bash, Python, etc. Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration, as well as hypervisor technologies. Previous consulting experience in DevOps/Agile/Lean environments is preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 4+ years of relevant experience with professional Azure certifications (minimum AZ- or 400 certification or higher).
